Telecommunications Software Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY:

Join us to develop software for new communications devices. As part of a team developing highly integrated, leading edge communications chips, you will help to define a software architecture that integrates data and voice communications in an embedded environment. You'll integrate existing code and develop new software to create a digital telephony code base to be embedded in a variety of new products.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5 years of experience programming in C or C++.
  
• At least 2 years of embedded system development experience.
  
• Telecom or networking software development experience (including VoIP, VoATM or VoDSL protocols) required.
  
• Low level ATM or frame relay software experience is desired.
  
• Real time software design, RTOS experience and familiarity with VxWorks, ThreadX and popular software tools is a plus.
  
• Experience working in a chip development environment is a plus.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• BS in EE/CS
  
• Minimum of 3 years industry experience.
