VICE PRESIDENT OF
SALES
Location: Fremont, CA
Position Summary
The Vice President of Sales will work closely with the President and VP of
Marketing and Product Development to partner in devising sound marketing strategies
and tactics to achieve forecasted revenue, profit, and market share objectives for
Centillium Technology's products and services. This position will be responsible for
fully exploiting the market for new and existing customers (including identifying new
market niches for existing products and services) in order to gain enhanced market
penetration, "mindshare" and market visibility.
Job Responsibility Summary
- Build a sales organization for international geographical markets and the United
States.
- Develop and inplement new, effective marketing strategies, plans and
programs to sell and create increased customer demand and market penetration.
- Develop and implement sales strategies.
- Provide operational and strategic direction, leadership and growth
oportunities for sales employees.
- Establish and maintain distribution and rep channels.
- Establish and execute product plans, marketing activities and
strategies.
- Create and manage budget and key contracts, and sales
compensation plans.
Required Qualifications
- Technical knowledge of telecommunication and/or semiconductor industry.
- Strong sales background and marketing knowledge, management skills,
solid strategic thinking process, plus great written and oral communication skills.
- Strong leadership, motivational skills, and impeccable integrity.
Experience and Educational Requirements

- 10-13 years of industry experience
- Minimum of 10 years sales experience
- Strong marketing background preferred
- Experience in managing P&L;
- Management positions held both in sales and marketing
- BSEE or marketing degree
- MBA preferred
- Completed training courses in negotiation and sales, i.e. Dale Carnegie

team player, be energetic and enthusiastic. Effective presentation skills and professional image
required.
