CENTILLIUM'S CEO TO SPEAK AT FABLESS SEMICONDUCTOR ASSOCIATION (FSA) EVENT Faraj Aalaei to Join Industry Leaders in Assessing the State of the Semiconductor Industry FREMONT, Calif.,
March 29, 2001 - Faraj Aalaei, CEO and co-founder of Centillium Communications, Inc. [NASDAQ: CTLM], innovator of broadband communications technology, will be a panelist at the Fabless Semiconductor Association's (FSA's) April luncheon in San Jose, on April 3. The panel will address the current status of the fabless semiconductor industry, answering questions about wafer demand, the economy, supply chain issues, trends and forecasting the future of the industry.
Aalaei will be joined by: Dr. Eli Harari, CEO of SanDisk; Paul Costigan, CEO of Massana; Dan Niles, senior semiconductor analyst with Lehman Brothers; Jim Feldhan, president of Semico Research, Bruce Freyman, corporate vice president of product operations at Amkor Technology, and Jim Kupec, president of UMC USA. Jonathan Cassell, editor in chief of Electronic News, will moderate the panel.
