SINGTEL Magix TO DEPLOY G.LITE ADSL TECHNOLOGY WITH DIGICOM SYSTEMS, INC. AND CENTILLIUM COMMUNICATIONS, INC.

SingTel Magix to Utilize Digicom's DSL USB Modem 7410 Based on Centillium's Optimizer Chipset for Annex A G.lite ADSL

FREMONT, Calif., July 26, 2000 - Centillium Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: CTLM), innovator of broadband communications technology, and Digicom Systems, Inc., a subsidiary of Creative Technology Ltd. (NASDAQ: CREAF), announced today that SingTel Magix is deploying G.lite Asymmetric DSL (ADSL) modems manufactured by Digicom based on Centillium's Optimizerú chipset. The consumer-oriented DSL USB Modem 7410, is part of a family of broadband modems marketed under the Blaster¨ brand. It is specially designed to ease the deployment of broadband services with an integrated Universal Serial Bus (USB) interface that delivers instant plug-and-play configuration.

Digicom, a leading global communications equipment supplier, has leveraged on Centillium's Optimizer chipset to design the cost-effective and user-installable broadband DSL USB modem 7410. Providing users with the convenience of installing the device without opening the PC, the Centillium-based DSL USB modem 7410 utilizes the USB power of the PC so that customers do not need external AC power. Offering simple plug-and-play features, its ease of installation will enable SingTel to jump-start the DSL market for consumers and small office users in Singapore. The DSL USB modem 7410 is currently available through Etail sales channels in Singapore.
