CENTILLIUM COMMUNICATIONS TO EXHIBIT AND PRESENT AT THE COMNET CONFERENCE AND EXPO

Company to Introduce Newest Member of the Palladia™ SecureDSL Family and to Present on the NCA Panel

FREMONT, Calif., January 21, 2002 - Centillium Communications, Inc. [NASDAQ: CTLM], innovator of broadband communications technology, will exhibit and present on the National Convergence Alliance (NCA) panel at the COMNET Conference and Expo, January 28– 31, at the Washington Conference Center in Washington DC.

Centillium plans to introduce the newest member of its Palladia SecureDSL product line at booth 483 on the COMNET show floor. Additionally, Laurie Falconer, Director of Corporate Communications for Centillium Communications, will present on convergence technology during NCA’s panel titled “Convergence: New Service Deployment Possibilities for Enterprise and Service Providers”. This presentation will take place on January 30, 2002 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM in room 29.
